To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Neo-LD Desert Nomad Join Date: May 2005 Location: USA Guild: [GSS][SoF][DIII]	Wither/Malaise still bad, but one fact overlooked Apparently, when you execute the switch-to-empty-weapon-set trick to get rid of wither/malaise, any maintained enchants you were holding expire. (since you dropped way below 0 energy for a split second) This wont make a huge difference fo some monks if they dont use any of those at all, but it is absolutely devastating to monks that life bond their entire team. Even the popular boon monk will have to recast boon after the switch, which means that wither/malaise just sapped him for 5 extra energy (indirectly) So in my opinion wither still stinks (go find a better elite) but malaise is pretty good since its spammable and reapplyable and it doesnt hurt that bad use one little slot to carry it.

Ender Ward Frost Gate Guardian Join Date: Apr 2005	Or, you could put down Nature's Renewal and drop all those Life Bonds the slightly less complicated way . P.S. Yes yes, NR is overpowered and will almost certainly be nerfed, but right now it's a much easier way to break Life Bonders' backs.

Orochim4ru Lion's Arch Merchant Join Date: Jul 2005 Guild: mustache riders	Since NR got fixed/buffed i have never seen anyone running serious maintained enchants at all. Bonding would be pretty insane in the current meta. Aegis or seed is pretty much all i see in the way of "heavy" enchants. But yeah, that's pretty much a given
